The team here went above and beyond. We're in town settling my grandfather's estate after his unexpected passing and the team here at Wingate has been nothing more than exceptional and considerate.

We are staying at the hotel located by U of M neurology. It’s so close . The hotel has handicap accessible rooms. They are nice . The women working the counter yesterday was super friendly and helpful. It was fast and smooth check in even when I messed up a little on payment method . Breakfast was good and clean . Highly recommend.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to the two major highways, grocery store and restaurants. We don’t use pools or jacuzzis when we travel, but, they do have them and the area is clean and centrally located on the property. The front counter staff was a bit confrontations when we arrived. We are local residents living in Columbia and the staff member questioned why we were staying with them. Seemed an odd question. Apparently they do not normally allow locals to stay there. I had to explain to him that we had our house completely packed up as we are moving. Why in the world would I need to explain anything to him. We need a room, they are a hotel… The other item we didn’t like is the breakfast. It’s pretty horrible. Food was room temp and the eggs were obviously powdered. Very nominal assortment.

Staff was very nice. I drove from California and after needing a hot shower, snacks, and a little R&R, I fell asleep instantly. Comfortable king size bed and an early breakfast there, I was very pleased. Thank you
