Meet Clydesdales at Warm Springs Ranch

Discover the headquarters of the Budweiser Clydesdales' breeding operation, the Warm Springs Ranch near our Columbia, Missouri hotel. The Wingate by Wyndham Columbia is less than 20 miles from the ranch. Sign up for the Guided Walking Tour or take the Private VIP Tour. Learn all about the classic horses and their breeding operation. Each tour is 1.5 hours and you can pet them and you can even have your picture taken with them. You'll also be shown the Clydesdales' luxury trailer and harness along with the 1903 beer wagon made famous in TV commercials. After your tour, pick up a souvenir at the gift shop and savor a taste of Budweiser beer.

Guided Walking Tours: Daily except Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. Private VIP Tours: Daily except Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. No tours November through March.

Prices -

Guided Walking Tours: $12 per guest (children under 2 are free). Private VIP Tours: $500 per tour (up to 16 guests).

  • Does the Ranch provide tours to interact with the Clydesdales?

    Yes, Warm Springs Ranch offers tours in which you can go right up to a Clydesdale and pet them. There are two different tours: the Guided Walking Tour and the Private VIP Tour. Both tours take 1.5 hours and include talking to a Clydesdale handler and viewing the traveling hitch equipment. The Guided Walking Tour is ADA-compliant (paved and level paths) while the Private VIP Tour is given in a personal, custom-built vehicle.
  • Can I purchase tickets on the Ranch?

    If you're going to take either the Guided Walking Tour or Private VIP Tour, you will not be able to buy tickets at Warm Springs Ranch. Both tours are by reservation only so tickets much be purchased in advance at Make sure to give yourself plenty of lead time as space is limited. Please be advised that parts of both tours take place outside in rain or shine.
